With Rod Barbee and Don Mammoser |

Zion National Park is a landscape photographer's dream. Towering spires, colorful canyon walls,
and incredible light is just part of what awaits.
Autumn is a wonderful time to visit Zion, with fall foliage adding its accent to the already incredible colors of the sandstone cliffs. We'll spend time in Zion Canyon photographing along the banks of the Virgin River, and visit such places as the Temple of Sinewava, Temples of the Virgin, The Court of the Patriarchs, the Kolob Canyons, Checkerboard Mesa, and more. If time permits and the group is willing, we may even make an early (really early) morning trek to Bryce Canyon. As this is truly one of America's most spectacular parks,
we'll be focusing on landscape photography and discussing the techniques
that will help you capture the vision in your mind's eye. |
This is a field workshop,
therefore we'll be spending most of the time in the field and that's where
we'll do the majority of teaching. Individual critiques
and portfolio reviews
are available. We do try to get in at least one group critique session, and
classroom sessions may be scheduled as time and facilities allow.
We'll be meeting the evening of the 28th for introductions and orientation. The workshop ends after the morning shoot on the 2nd. The Price for this field workshop is $795. This includes personalized instruction from two professional nature photographers, honest evaluation of your work, location expertise, and of course, ample teasing. To sign up, click here and
print out and mail the registration form with your deposit. Upon registering, you'll be sent full details on the workshop. |
| A $200 deposit (non-refundable) is required to hold a space with the balance due 60 days prior to the workshop. You will also be asked to sign a Liability Release. Please review our Policies Page before sending any money and for payment instructions. |
