Famous throughout the world for amazing mountain scenery, the Colorado Rockies are most spectacular in the San Juan Range. Ouray, Colorado is located in the heart of the San Juan Mountains and is called “The Switzerland of America.” This is where we'll base our adventures from.

Topics we'll cover include exposure for both film and digital, composition, close up and landscape photography techniques, filter usage, lens choices, and equipment. We'll also address Photoshop questions, including blending two or more exposures to get one well exposed image, and any other questions you may have. We may even have the answers! |

Lodging information: We'll be staying at the Ouray Victorian Inn http://www.ouraylodging.com/lodging-inn.asp We have a block of rooms reserved at the Victorian Inn. The rate is $99/night plus tax. If you wish to stay at this hotel with us, you need do nothing; upon registering for the workshop your name was added to the hotel’s list. If you wish to make other arrangements for your stay, let Don know when you sign up. There is an RV park in town if you're traveling in your RV and wish to stay there. Don has more info on that.
