Olympic
National Park
limited space workshop July 19-24, 2009 I live on the Olympic Peninsula. I love it here. Some
of my best memories and photographs have come out of Olympic National Park. This field workshop is limited to only six people. This way I can spend more time with each of you, helping with filters, getting the exposure you want, or talking you through some compositional choices. A small group like this is great because we all get to know each other, it’s easier to stick together, and the dynamics of a small group leads people to feed off of each other’s creativity and enthusiasm.
We’ll also gather around a laptop computer for informal critique and sharing sessions. (Please bring images!) We'll meet early evening of Sunday the 19th in Port Angeles for introductions and an informal orientation. We'll then start the workshop bright and early on the 20th. On the 22nd we'll move to Forks to be near the rainforest and ocean beaches. The workshop will end after the morning shoot on Friday the 24th.
