limited space workshop

July 19-24, 2009
Port Angeles and Forks, WA
Limited to six
(minimum 3)
$500
1 space left

I live on the Olympic Peninsula. I love it here. Some of my best memories and photographs have come out of Olympic National Park.
This July I’m leading a field workshop to one of the areas I know best.

Mid-July is traditionally the best time of the year for sub-alpine wildflowers and mountain landscape images. It's also a great time for some lowland flowers, waterfalls, and forest images as well.

This field workshop is limited to only six people. This way I can spend more time with each of you, helping with filters, getting the exposure you want, or talking you through some compositional choices.

A small group like this is great because we all get to know each other, it’s easier to stick together, and the dynamics of a small group leads people to feed off of each other’s creativity and enthusiasm.

Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm, ©Rod BarbeeWe’ll not only hit the classic places, but a few others that I know of. Places that not too many (if any) of the big workshop companies even know about.

We’ll also gather around a laptop computer for informal critique and sharing sessions. (Please bring images!)

We'll meet early evening of Sunday the 19th in Port Angeles for introductions and an informal orientation. We'll then start the workshop bright and early on the 20th. On the 22nd we'll move to Forks to be near the rainforest and ocean beaches. The workshop will end after the morning shoot on Friday the 24th.

Ruby Beach, ©Rod BarbeeThe cost of this workshop is $500 per person. As this workshop is happening soon, payment in full is required to ensure a spot.
I'll accept checks or payment through PayPal. It's easy and secure. You can send PayPal payments to rod@rodbarbee.  If you'd rather, email me and I'll send you a PayPal invoice. Email or call to confirm space before sending money.
