I'm primarily a nature and landscape photographer. That doesn't mean I won't delve into other subjects; barns and harbors are just two of my favorite non-nature subjects. I’m especially attracted to finding the patterns and graphic shapes to be found in nature and within the landscape. Making these discoveries is the reason I photograph. I think it was Ansel Adams who said: “Photography is primarily an act of discovery and recognition.”
It certainly has been for me.
